USASA Regional Competitions wrap up today. Our friends in the west needed an extra day to get some events in due to all the excess snow… We have a few new members who have not been to nationals so here is a brief update as to what to expect. Here’s what to expect this week as it relates to USASA Nationals:

Nationals Info is live, schedules and all other needs are under General Info. Comp groups and caps were listed on March 1st.

Invite process
Invites will begin on March 17th. We have several new communication pieces dropping early next week including a how to register video. Good info in the FAQ now on the process.

How will I know if I qualify for Nationals?

Go to National Rankings to view if you have received a qualification after March 17th. Be sure keep checking your profile if you would like to secure your positions. Invites update every 48hrs and if not claimed cannot be returned. Payment for each qualification is due at the time of acceptance and may occur at different invite intervals. USASA will not send email notifications of qualifications, they must be claimed from the athlete profile.

Are registrations received on site?

No. We are unable to process any registrations on site and will not add competitors to any groups after March 24th.
What if I forfeit my position, and then change my mind?

Once an opportunity to enter is released, if not accepted it is forfeited. It cannot be returned to the athlete under any circumstances.
In order to give everyone an opportunity to be next in line, if you do not accept your entry within 48 hrs, we offer it to the next person.
If you are waiting until the next round of entries for another discipline keep checking back every 24-48 hrs.
Am I automatically invited if I won National Championships last season?

No. Previous year’s National Champions or Overall winners are not qualified to the 2023 National Championships based on your historical results. Each year starts new and you must qualify each season to earn your position at the USASA National Championships.
